  i have recently been given the privilege of taking the field service group.. .

  can anyone give me some scriptures i can use to encourage the group?

  No no, but I assume thay both have questions they haven been able to get answers from the org to. After a while they both started posing some questions. But , my thought is that an active JW would not dare starting questioning the first thing he/she does on this board. He has to feel accepted and tolerated at first.

  If we would like active JWs to see TTATT we cannot start yelling TTATT to them. It is better answering their questions and try to be polite. A JW who comes here probably has a reason for doing it.

  Outlaw. KFC will open a restaurant in my country, probably during the summer. But it's a 5 hour drive away from here.

  Hmm, lets think a bit about it, Kayser. How wold an actvie JW start posting on this board ig he/she has serious questions? I assume it feels a bit safer starting out with posting someting "theocratic" in the first post. Maybe he wished to se how this board reacted to it? MAybe he thaught that there is both apologists and "apostates" here? We don't dnow.

  But this thread and some others shows why it's important not to be confrontative against active JWs posting here. Being confrontative just activates their "cult selves" and their prejudice against "apostates"

  Panthers, there is a lot of information on the net about the UN ivolvement and the paedophilia scandals. Don't be afraid to google that information. As you already have stated, you will nog get that information from the elders/overseers.

  There are a lot of threads at this site related to those subjects.

  as of yet, no member of the jehovah's witness faith can defend their unique beliefs.

  when the dust settles, it all comes down to blind faith in men's ever-changing ideas.

  this "unique belief" was not a "true teaching of the bible.

  I don't know if this is allowed! I have a feeling that is not, but, I will do it anyway! I was asked to publish a PM from Panters.

  Once again, I have asked my elders many questions but they never give me any answers. I did manager to get hold of the book elders receive once they become an elder and that is very interesting to read.
  
  So is the Watchtower part of the UN? Do the witnesses have any political involvement?
  
  When did the ministry begin? All these questions my elders won't answer which is odd.

  Got a message from Panters......he was a bit upset and sad that he only had 10 post a day as a beginner, I tried to explain to him why!

  We have to be patient, maybe he comes back another day for a chat! Now he is out of posts

  I forgot to ask him about the KFC and beer, Outlaw. Maybe we will get the answer tomorrow.

  Who knows, Outlaw. He talked about a party where he is going to rejct red vine and some cracker........so probably he preferes KFC and beer! That's for everyone, not only for some 15000 :P

  Of course the elders change the subject. You are not supposed to know about their policy regarding sexual offenders.

  But probably the society has more control of a molestor that is still inside the congregation than outside it.

  Furthermore, if they should DF him, that would be an indication that he is guilty, and then there would be a risk that some people wold like to report it to the authorities, and that will bring "reproach on the congregation and on Jehovahs name"

  So they prefere DF'ing teenagers that partied a bit wild and maybe smoked a ciggarette. It is ridiculous, but true.
